Numerous quirky independent shops adorn the High Street and the newly developed Five Valleys indoor market and shopping centre, inspired by London's award winning Borough Market, boasts local artisans and producers. All combine for a wonderfully joyful and memorable feast for the senses.

During our 6 years living here we have really enjoyed the local amenities the area offers us. We regularly wander along the canal taking in the wildlife and tranquillity.
The canal offers a variety of family activities including paddle boarding lessons, narrow boat excursions, canoeing and fishing. We often pop into the bohemian Kitsch cafe on the waterfront to relax with a coffee and cake. It is so lovely to see local children playing outside together on Home Orchard’s several large greens, nearby playgrounds, zip wire and nature reserve. We make good use of the 3 large supermarkets all within walking distance.
